Seeking Supporters and Ways to Maximize Success

Hi everyone,

I have had success with MFP losing 48 lbs so far after gaining and losing the same 10 lbs for the last few months. I have renewed my focus and I am ready to make this a permanent part of my life. It's a must to become fit and truly divalicious! I would love to receive and give support to others. Please feel free to add me and let me know if you would like to be added. And do let me know how you maximize your success with MFP.

I'm pretty new to MFP, so I could probably learn more from you; congrats on all the weight loss so far. I'm always willing t listen or offer words of encouragement so feel free to add.
  • Thank you for replying. I am still learning. I will say that I got a Fitbit Ultra, linked it with my fitness pal and have been more aware of how much activity I get and how many calories I am burning. If you've never heard of it, please do some research. I would recommend it.

You can add me too and I am very curious about the Fitbit...I have seen it mentioned all over MFP.

And I see you are extremely close to your goal weight and I would love to know if you plan to keep using the Fitbit and how it works. I have been logging everything doing lots of on-line searches to see the caloric burn of the various fitness classes/activities that I do.

  • Added you! Thank you so much. We can help each other. I do have a few tricks that I am willing to share.
  • @BodyComatGir. Thank you for the support. I am here for you. That goal is just one of many. I decided to take weight loss in chunks. It makes it less overwhelming. And I can stay motivated longer. It's one of my tricks. Fitbit is a great tool. I have only been using it for a short time, since May 21st. It was an eye opener for me. It allowed to me actually see how sedentary I had been. And it also let me see how much work I have to put into burning off calories, so I am more willing to not overeat. I love my Fitbit! It is worth every penny. My next investment will be a Polar heart rate monitor watch.

I will keep using Fitbit when I finally hit my ideal weight. I believe that it will be the key to maintenance. MFP and Fitbit are powerful tools.

Keep logging in! Think of what you are doing as a lifestyle change that is permanent. You have done well, 16 lbs is fantastic!

I will start using the blog feature of MFP soon to do more sharing.
