help! Dumbbells

Hi, this is my first post ever on MFP, i've got dumbbells , my question is what can i do with them?
is it d same as weight training?
how do i use them? What benefits do i stand to gain by using them?
you advice is greatly needed. Thanks

    Weight training is good. Builds muscle and bone density in addition to making your body look and function better.

    As far as what to do? Figure out your goals and use the search function here or bodybuilding.com. It's not hard at all to find a program that works for you.

    Dumbbells are definitely considered weight training. They are essential in most workouts. I just Googled dumbbell workouts and there are a bunch of results that offer websites dedicated to dumbbell workouts. Here is one for example:

    You should be able to get a decent workout at home with just dumbbells. It will depend on how heavy the dumbbells are. Do you have a full set or just a set of 5 lb (for example)?
