Hi,so I've decided to up my cals from 1200 to 1300 because I'm always sooo hungry which means I'll only loose around 1.5lbs per week instead of 2lb I feel absolutely gutted because at first I found it easy then as the days go by it got harder and harder,is anyone else in this amount of cals or am I just the greedy one out of the bunch? I'm so disappointed in myself right now but if I want a chance at winning my fight against fat,I've gotta do something I can keep up,right? X

I am in the 1200 cal./day range and it is NOT easy! If 100 extra calories makes the difference b/t sticking to your weight loss plan vs. getting frustrated and ditching it, UP YOUR CALORIES. 100 calories is basically the equivalent of a "snack." Make them count! I find that eating 100 calories in the form of a high fiber/unsweetened cereal satisfies my evening hungries.
You can also up your exercise to burn the extra calories.
Just stick to your goal, make the food adjustments you need to keep you motivated and go for it!!!!!!!0 -

Thank you for your kind words,it definitely is much harder than I once thought I can't believe how much I used to eat! Another thing I've noticed is the real meaning of comfort food as soon as I get fed up I want something to eat! I think I might have to spend on day fasting that week to make up for what a bad girl I've been,I think I'll join a swimming class too xx0 -
Can't see your diary, but wondering what you are eating? Can you substitute some lower calorie food that will help satisfy the hunger? (for example, 1 cup of frosted mini wheats = 175 cals, Quaker puffed wheat + 1 tsp sugar = 65 cals).
Let me know if I can help you with it. I'm the friggin' queen of low cal subs . I'm on a 1000 cal a day diet (per doc order) so I have had to adapt in a major way.0
