Hello Everyone. My name is Adam and I'm new to MFP. I'm an former competitive body builder that recently found himself with a BMI hovering around 30. And that is, as I'm sure many would agree, completely unacceptable.

I bumped into the MFP app searching Google Play for a basic calorie calculator. I can't accurately express how happy I am to have found this tool. This completely eliminates the need for multiple notebooks to keep track of cardio, resistance training and detailed food diary, which of course meant copying the nutritional elements off of food items when available. And searching the web endlessly for things that aren't(Lamb chops, Sushi etc). Keeping track of all of that took more diligence than the actual training.

I put myself through University working as a nutritionist and dietitian and would be happy to answer any questions that anyone might have.
