Color Run Sacramento

Anyone doing the Color Run in Sacramento? I will be participating with my children. But, I will probably be walking most of it. My kids and I are really excited for this 5K.

    I am not but that sounds very fun. I have done a 5k mudrun a few months back and I had a blast. When my daughter is bigger I want her to do these with me :)

    I used to live in N. Cal, Vallejo, but now I'm in Louisville, KY and I'll be doing the color run here on July 29th! I will not be running, but walking is a start! Good luck, we should post pics later :bigsmile:

    I've heard SEVERAL awesome things about this Color Run you speak of. UNFORTUNATELY, they don't have one in my town, or I'd sign up in a heartbeat. :-)

    I did the Color Run in Atlanta back in April. It was my first 5K..... It was AWESOME!!!! It was so much fun! The perfect first 5k! Just remember to take stuff to cover the inside of your car becaue that powder gert EVERYWHERE!!!

    Thanks for the advice about covering the seats of my car! I didn't even think about the color rubbing off.

    If you are interested join a group that doesn't have at least 4 runners. It will save you some cash.

    I'm gonna look into this. I think I may be ready to attempt a race although I'll be walking and not running.

    I REALLY want to do this. But it's $50.... ouch. I know that's not bad for a run, I just wish I knew about it a few months ago, so I had room to save. blah!

    You can still save a little if you join a team that is open for members.
