    87, I go by the manual specs.....helps the master cylinder fire in a jiffy, and as a result I get to work in a flash \m/

    Premium ONLY. My baby is high maintenance. The poor guys at the gas station will never forget the first time I went to fill her up and I didn't know...so I had to go call my husband to ask him. I don't go there any more!

    My VW demands at least 92. I usually put in 93 because its readily available at most gas stations around here. It keeps my valves from tapping and I get better mileage than regular. Totally worth the extra $.20 a gal.

    87 in the Cavalier and the Suburban.
    93 in the Hot Rod (10.5:1 compression)

    I tried putting 89 in the Cavalier and I actually LOST 1 MPG.

    the cheapest there is....usually 87.....but then again I get about 39-40 MPG in my car! LOVE IT!

    91 is the highest we have here. I hate putting gas in....my ex was a master at it, and now that I have to do it, it seems that the tank is used up in a flash. Very disappointing.

    91 in both cars, 89 in the truck.. One car requires 93, but we only get 91 in cali. So...

    Also our gas is full of engine-ruining mileage-reducing generally awful ethanol.
