Baskin Robbins Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Shake

PER SERVING (small, 16 oz.): 920 calories, 61g fat, 550mg sodium, 76g carbs, 5g fiber, 67g sugars, 25g protein -- POINTS® value 23*

AHHHHHHH 920 calories?!? 61 grams of fat??? And what's most alarming here is the fact that these stats are for the smallest size shake available. A large one has 2,160 calories and 147 grams of fat (POINTS® value 55*)!

Hungry Girl has a sippable peanut butter fix with a Hungry For Peanut Butter Milkshake. With just 142 calories and less than 4g fat (POINTS® value 3*), this shake puts Baskin Robbins' to shame.

the other day at work, everyone wanted to go get a frostie. Well i declined, and decided to look up the calories in the most popular shakes.
Sonic Shakes are just like this one, over 900 calories and an unmentionable amount of fat. I guess those are out for me forever!!

There is a Baskin Robbin's right by the Kroger I shop at. Every time I go to Kroger I get to see this huge add for that shake... I actually looked it up a couple months ago because I wanted it soooo bad, but I guess not bad enough for a whole days worth of food!

Hey, I worked at a tim hortons for 5 years (while in school) and those stats are gonna be IF you use cream in it! If you ask for milk you cut the cals quite a bit and the fat will go waaaaaaaaaaaaay down! Also ask for it without the whipped cream, it will still be a lots of cals, but better.

I went to Culvers the other day, and said "What the heck, who cares!" and proceeded to eat a double-scoop sundae.

Got home, looked up the calories and saw that I ate 977 calories!!!!

Wow, it didn't look that big!

How to get your ice cream fix without eating more than 250 calories: get a kid's scoop, no toppings. That's the 4 ounce serving size - not the "small," which is 6 ouncees. I have one almost every day.

Or, if you have good portion control (i.e. you can keep a pint of ice cream at home without eating the whole pint), peanut butterl lovers should try this:

1 cup Breyer's chocolate or vanilla ice cream
    1/2 cup skim milk
2 tablespoons melted creamy peanut butter*

Whip up in a blender and serve immediately.
    Makes 1 serving.
    Total calories: 360

*Skipping peanut butter and using cookies and cream or mint chip ice cream makes a 200 cal shake.
