I am turning 50 in November and I have some ideas on how to celebrate the occasion but I would appreciate your ideas.

Right now I am thinking about a trip to Key West.

I think Key West is a great idea. The sun, the beach, a lounge chair and a drink. Awesome.

Guys, there is not really a "beach" in Key West.
It IS nice without a doubt but, once you get past, lets say, Big Pine, it is all coral.
If you want to go fishing, then without a doubt, head South but, please don't expect to hang out on a beach.

When my husband turned 50 I had a surprise birthday party for him in a Mexican restaurant and invited friends, our kids, and co-workers; but he knows that I don’t like surprises or birthday parties, so I celebrated my fifties like all the other birthdays, without any fanfare or drums, just went out to dinner with my husband.

Yeah, well right about this time, I'm thinking this was not such a great idea. Am so tired.
I think I would rather go skydiving! That IS on my bucket list.

My husband did this for me. It was a lovely surprise.

I was originally planning to go the 50th state (Hawaii) for my 50th birthday in September to celebrate hitting my goal weight. When I realized I'd set my weight loss goal too aggressively, I decided I would still make that trip once I get to my goal, which will now probably be sometime just after the first of the year.

Of course, now that leaves me with figuring out what to do ON my birthday.

I will be 50 in less than 4 years, I plan to celebrate it by having sex in 50 different places. :drinker:

For my 40th I went from London to Venice on the Orient Express, that was pretty cool.

My mom ran her first half marathon for her 50th birthday. Talk about a BAMF.

But Key West sounds a lot more fun lol
