I lift heavy already and have been for a while but I don't think I consume enough calories and I'm working on consistently eating enough protein.
What is your calorie intake? Just want to get an idea.
Thanks
I eat around 1400-1500 plus some exercise cals back.

It depends on what your goal is.. If you want to add muscle then you need to eat in a surplus.. if you want to lose fat, then you need to eating at a deficit.
During the school year when I'm working I eat between 1700-2000 calories a day.. but now that it's summer and I'm less active, it's more like 1200-1500 calories a day.0 -

bump.
I was doing 1200 plus exercise cals. I just recently decided to do 1600-1800 a day, regardless of exercise.
I'm admittedly scared.0 -

I eat 1600-2000 calories day with a 40/30/30 macro target. I lift heavy and some endurance. I burn roughly 3000 calories a week and eat them all back and sometimes more. I'm 5'8", 145lbs and 21% body fat.0

I eat between 1,500 - 1,600 a day, and eat back some or all of my exercise calories (and I'm still losing weight).0
