Women who lift heavy :)

I lift heavy already and have been for a while but I don't think I consume enough calories and I'm working on consistently eating enough protein.

What is your calorie intake? Just want to get an idea.

Thanks :)

I eat around 1400-1500 plus some exercise cals back.

It depends on what your goal is.. If you want to add muscle then you need to eat in a surplus.. if you want to lose fat, then you need to eating at a deficit.

During the school year when I'm working I eat between 1700-2000 calories a day.. but now that it's summer and I'm less active, it's more like 1200-1500 calories a day.

2300 a day. I don't log my exercise so it's around 1800-1900 NET on workout days.

    bump.

I was doing 1200 plus exercise cals. I just recently decided to do 1600-1800 a day, regardless of exercise.

    I'm admittedly scared.

I eat 1600-2000 calories day with a 40/30/30 macro target. I lift heavy and some endurance. I burn roughly 3000 calories a week and eat them all back and sometimes more. I'm 5'8", 145lbs and 21% body fat.

I eat between 1,500 - 1,600 a day, and eat back some or all of my exercise calories (and I'm still losing weight).
