As much as I try I know I'm not receiving as many fruits and vegetables as recommended. I was wondering what MFP members thought of green food supplements. In the Super Food selection of Vitamin Shoppe, I see some come in powder and some in pill form. Does one seem better than the other?
I will admit Im skeptical about these but interested enough to dig further. Are these supplements beneficial? What exactly are their purpose? Are they easy to take? What other uses are they good for? Yada yada yada.

I would be scared to take that stuff. Some people take it because they can't stand the taste of a veggie or fruit.
I don't know about this one gurl. I haven't tried anything other then green tea drinks. lol0 -
How is it too much to get 5 measly servings a day?
I'm honestly asking. I'm usually way over that. What are you eating?
And... be a good girl and eat your veggiesYou aren't going to get the same benefits as from the actual food. Read up about vitamins and absorption rates.

I don't eat junk food that's for sure. Some days I can get it in but some days I can't. That simple. You guys are right, though. I like veggies/ fruit. My problem is less consistency as of lately. Maybe because Im so busy, not as hungry, or both.
Im finding it hard to believe (still reading) but seeing a lot of positive supplemental reviews.0 -
I'm going to say stay with the fresh stuff, or maybe give you doc a call see what he/she thinks. Make sure it won't mess with any meds your on, you never know.

Im only using BC and a multi but I still want to see what he says. I like to research before asking him anything or taking some prescribed (habit). Thanks for the link.0
