Recording Calories while out of town

I was at a recent conference for work were most of my meals were included as part of the conference. How do I record my calories when I have no idea how the chicken or vegetables were fixed? I ate more of the salads and vegetables and refrained from desserts, but have no idea if the vegetable were saute'd in heavy oil. Any suggestions would be great.

As a result of not knowing how, I did not record any calories for last week. Good news is I worked out while I was out of town and maintained my weight.

That's all you can really do. When I am out of town, I just try to eat as well as I can. I usually can't get to logging my calories, so I am just extra careful about what I ingest.

I had a similar experience last month. I just tried to make the best choices I could and didn't worry about logging my food after the fact. I started logging again as soon as I got home.
