Could this be asthma??

Over the last few weeks I've noticed that at the start of my cardio workouts (in particular Turbo Fire DVDs) I have trouble catching my breath. It's almost like I'm weazing. Then when my heart rate gets elevated and my body is warm, it's no longer a problem. I've never had any respiratory issues before and I have no known allergies. Also, I thought maybe my sports bra was too tight so I switched to looser ones for a few days but had the same breathing difficulty at the start of my workout. Is it possible that I could be developing asthma (even though I'm 31 pounds lighter than I was 6 months ago)??

Probably best to get it checked out, but we used to talk about "second breath" when I did athletics as a teenager. You get out of breath during the first 5 - 15 mins of exercise, then settle into a more comfortable rhythm when you get your "second breath".
Not sure what the science behind it is though, or if there even is any.0 -
Better safe than sorry and get it checked out. Asthma can develop as an adult. I do find it weird though that it would happen now after weight loss. Allergies can also develop as an adult.0
