That's my goal too except I'm not 126 yet . I think you can get there in two months if you are strict with your calories and workout 6x a week. Good luck!0

10 lbs at 126 is going to be tough, but probably doable if you really commit. However, I wouldn't get hung up on the number as much as the mirror. 6 workouts/week might be a little rough, though.0

You are already pretty light, so it's not going to be easy to lose that much safely in 2 months.
Why not eat well and exercise moderately and accept that if you lose 6 pounds or 10 pounds, you are doing all the right things to get to where you want to be?
The other factor to consider is that the scale number is only one measure. You might find that by changing up your exercise you can build stronger muscles which can make you look leaner and feel better in a bikini. At your weight, that might be more important than losing a particular number of pounds.0 -
Set your goal calories to lose 2lbs/week and stay around that number. You could also work on toning and forget about the scale and end up stronger and probably looking better than if you just lost weight.0

this is a bad idea for someone that is 126 lbs. She'd end up having a net goal of like 800 calories...0 -
even if I gain some muscle tone, wouldn't I have to lose fat for it to be visible? I've never had to watch what I eat until recently and now I feel like I'm in the deep end with all this nutrition stuff, so try to explain even if it seems obvious please. also thank you to everyone for giving such specific and nice advice!0

as you tone up and your muscle volume increases you may not lose the pounds per se but the fat will dissapear and you will look very fit and toned. I would stick to a healthy diet of NO LESS than 1200 calories per day and make sure you are eating high quality, non-processed foods and make sure your exercise includes a lot of strength training as well as cardio. Set your goals to around 1lb per week (any more isn't healthy for someone your size) and stick to it! Track your sodium as well as too much of that will make you bloated and bigger than you really are, and be sure you're getting at least 8 glasses of WATER per day (no diet drinks or sodas at all).. good luck!0

If you're not already you could try going vegetarian or even vegan. It will certainly take a big commitment but if you set your mind to it anything is possible. It is a good idea to transition into and out of the lifestyle if you plan to go back to animal protein and dairy. Also, ensure that everything you eat is whole foods and heads up it can seem expensive. I do one month cycles like this 2-3 times a year and it always helps eliminate stalls. Lastly, for the 1st week keep your exercise at a moderate level as your internal systems will be doing a lot of work while it adjusts to this new way of eating.
By doing this you're essentially cleansing your body in a very healthy way. Here are a few sites you can use for vegetarian/vegan eating.
