Ready to be successful again!

I started MFP at the beginning of this year, starting at 290.8. I lost 32 pounds and got a taste of the 250s, but one bad weekend in April threw me off the wagon, and I've been struggling to get back on track ever since. As of today I'm at 269, and I'm ready to re-lose the weight I put back on, and start climbing back down again toward my ultimate goal. I've been overweight my entire life. When I was 18 years old and in the 230s, I started running and fell in love with it, but it didn't last long. Right now, I'm on week 3 of the Couch-to-5k program, and I am registered for my very first 5k on September 22. Now all I have to do is get my eating under control, and I've never had as much success as with MFP, so I'm ready to start again and never give up this time! Please feel free to add me, the support was always wonderful.

  • Hey Luv2run29, good luck! I've been there with the giving up despair, but the key to success is consistency, be consistent with your diet plans and exercise plans and just keep going with it, you will succeed!
