Hello well-endowed females

Hi primrosehill!
As u can see there are lots of us big busted girlies on here!! I am currently a 34HH and over the last two years have lost 30lb (before I joined FIT PAL). I dropped inches in my back but not really my cup as I was a 40GG when I started.
I'm hoping to lose another 30lb and really hope that some weight comes off my boobs...as I've lost weight I've began to get into running but sometimes I find it uncomfortable with my boobs - plus despite good support from a bra they still jiggle and make me very self conscious!
Let's try and lose it together!!! Anyone can add me - look for more support buddies :-)0 -
Not a female but see your pain.
I teach Bible study and this poor young girl in my class "sprouted" and is having a horrible time dealing with the largeness and the looks. I feel so bad for her. She is a wonderful kid (I tell her all the time) but I noticed she is more introverted now and she tries to hide them with big shirts. I spoke with her mom & sister because I think it would be creepy & weird for a 48yr old guy to talk to her about it. I still hug her ( I hug all my kids) I think it would make her feel bad if all of a sudden I stopped, but it's just so sad, I NEVER knew how having a larger than normal chest would seriusly affect someone.
I talked with the boys in the class and told them "No matter how slick you THINK you are, she knows you're looking, so STOP!"
Again, I can't feel your pain and as a guy who used to leer at women this was a wake up call because I have known her since she was a baby. Seeing her pain over this is sad.0 -
To girls who haven't lost any yet, I am 5'5" and started at 165ish. I lost the first 25 lb without losing a single inch/cup size, then the last 5 lb I've lost about 2 inches around (1 cup size, lost an inch around the ribs at the same time). So there IS hope for you. Also, there is reason to wait until you've reached you're ultimate goal weight before considering surgery. I went from a 32G to a 30DD and now I don't want them to get any smaller.0
-
The muffin is from your bottoms being too tight, not your top. I am a bit top heavy myself (30DD), and I always wear from fitting tops to avoid the tenting effect.
Also,as I have yo-yoed upand down in weight, I have also had 2 breast reductions-Yep..TWO (2), DOS, and my boobs grew back AGAIN! Currently only a D..Praise the Lord!!:bigsmile:0 -
Im in this club too - currently 38F but even before I put on 28lbs they were 34DD/E, although Im 5'7" Ive not got a large frame so Im all boobs - anything with buttons is out of the question unless I wear something 10 sizes bigger which hangs everywhere else!
Even at my slimmest , my 'puppies' were more like 'full grown labradores'
I dont understand how some women lose all their boobs when they diet and other don't lose much at all - why is this? I dont want to be flat chested but would like a little less :ohwell:0 -
I was a 38G when I started & I am currently a 36DDD, hope to be just a Dcup one day!!0
-
I was a GG cup when my son was born in 2005. In 2007, i had a surgical reduction to a C-cup. Through weight gain of 25-35 pounds during that time, I gained back to a DD cup. I'm REALLY hoping that continued loss will result in a smaller chest. I'd be THRILLED to be a C-cup again, but I'd settle for even a 1-cup size drop. I don't think my band will really shrink - even at my tiniest (144 pounds, pre pregnancy) I was a 36C, and I'm a 38DD now... it wouldn't take too much loss to feel "normal" again.0
-
I'm 5'9 and started off 240 witha 38F. I'm now down to 215ish with a 36F (go figure!). I'm HOPING the boobies do down to like a C/D.0
-
34DD when I started and even after 27lbs down, still a full D, I'd like them to be a little bit smaller still though0
-
I always joke that my girls each have their own zip code. They are completely obnoxious, but they have reduced in the past when I have been at a lighter weight. (Crossing fingers.)0
-
I'm 5'3.5" as well. 34F. I've lost 45 lbs and nothing off the girls. Each person is different though, best of luck0
-
I am hoping that my girls will shrink along with me proportionally. They give me a back ache.0

Re: Sports Bras, Moving Comfort bras work well for me, the newer big-boob max support styles keep getting better. I prefer an underwire to help keep everything where it should be.
I love Moving Comfort, too. I have recently tried out Enell bras and they are also good.0 -
38DDD, I can't find a bathing suit top anywhere! Frustrating! I'll be stuck in plus size swimwear for the rest of my life! I've lost 70 pounds and there is no way any of that came from my bust!0
-
right there with you... my husband loves it, but 38H is a little difficult to tote around all day and forget rolling over at night! My hubby has guesstimated that each breast weighs about twelve pounds, so a little off the top might help my goals!0
-
MEE!!! I hate my 38H boobs!!! I would love to lose some bust!!0
-
ahh... I am 5'7" and I am a 32 DD / E (really depends in the bra and how they measure)... even when I was a size 2 I wore a D... so I don't have too much hope... but I am excited that the D I hope to get back to will feel small compared to what I have going on now... so far the band size is all that has gone down... started at a 36... now back to 32...
I am right there with you ladies!
In terms sports bras... moving comfort.... LOVE THEM... bathing suits... Freya... LOVE THEM too... both can be a bit of an investment... but the support can not be beat! xx0 -
I wear a 44 DDD. I wouldn't mind being a DD or D just to make it easier to find bra's but I don't want them to go down very much.0
-
I am scared of loosing my boobs. I have always been a DDD even in highschool just the band got larger as I gained weight. I use to be self conscience of them but have grown to really appreciate them. I wouldnt mind if I lost my weight everywhere but my boobs.......0
-
Boobs rule. :-)
Hahaha. I am totally reading this thread even though I am not too big up top. Just wanted to see how big we were talkin. I'm only a D but am self conscious of that. I now see I should mellow out about it.
Anyway, I wanted to see if any dudes would pop in and lo and behold...lol
I had a friend whose sis was able to get a reduction covered by her medical insurance due to back pain, btw. Is that a viable option for any of you?0 -
I think insurance should cover breast augmentation due to extra strain on our backs, etc.0

I'm very happy with my 42D's, but wish they would go back up to where they used to be (before childbirth and gravity took their toll). I would like to see what I can do about moving them back up once I've lost my weight and kept it off for a year. So far I'm down 35lbs total (26 on MFP) and nothing has come off of them.
Someone asked about sports bras - This bra is fabulous. Everything TOTALLY stays put when I run, and I've never been able to find a bra that did that before. The down sides are that you feel like you're wearing a bra designed to keep things locked in place (I couldn't wear this all day comfortably) and it visually looks very heavy duty if you're concerned about appearances. I have a black one and just run in that as a top. Because of the dark color and all the material involved it doesn't look like a bra but more like some of the sports tops that are out there. It's a bit pricey, but is holding up well to machine washing and line drying:

Hi! I am currently a 34DD to DDD depending on the bra. I have skinny arms and legs and I am thick through the middle, so yeah...I look like a stick with a wad of bubblegum stuck to the top of it. I was hoping they would go down as I lose weight, but it seems to be coming off of my butt which is where I actually need it! I didn't get my boobs until I was 24 and pregnant with my first son. I went from a full A (if there is such a thing) to a DDD in about a month. My OB thought something was wrong and sent me to a specialist who was an old guy who said I was finally blooming, better late than never. *sigh* With my 2nd son I went to a 36G and could not lie on my back and breathe at the same time. I am 5'4" and have a petite frame.0

The use of the term muffin top in modern conversations is the fat rolling out of a woman's pants. It is caused by the pants being a size too small. What you are referring to is not what I would call a muffin top by the urban dictionary terms. Have you tried wearing high waisted pants? Or spanx to smooth? I've never really seen what you are describing on a person with low BF%.0 -
Mine have shrunk just a tiny bit and I really don't want them to get any smaller, I love having big boobs.0

I am 5' 2" and up to 34DD-never been a DD in my life! I am 47 & started menopause 2 years ago when the weight started packing on.
I am desperately seeking sports bra suggestions as I have tried on MANY & my boobs still jiggle far too much..so I wear an old Moving Comfort one(which never supported me well to begin with) plus a 2nd no clasp one.
Thanks!
I've read about the Armour Bra but it wasn't big enough for me. I also heard good things about the Tata Tamer at Lululemon but they were out of my size So I went to the Running Room and got one that I guess is called the Shock Absorber (that's what it says on the front and I've cut all the tags off.) I was blown away when I tried it on and jumped up and down and the girls didn't move at all PLUS they had it in my size which is a 36F and impossible to find in a normal bra.0 -
I have no idea why I`m reading this, since I`m only a 32 A...but I wish that they were bigger...so much!
Anyone wanna switch? :P0 -
This thread lacks pictures..........just saying!0

40GG here, but I love it and am hoping to stay this proportioned when the weight is all off. I'd like to lose everywhere so that I'm a 34GG when I'm done.0
