Hi, is anyone on here doing Pro Points as well as MFP?
calorie counting wasnt doing much for me on its own so i joined WW a few months ago and at first the weight loss was pretty noticibly and i had more energy and clothes fitted better, but now i seem to have hit a standstill... im a member online and used to be able to have 29pp until last week when they reduced it down to 26. i do go into my 49 weekly allowance but no way use it up..
has anyone had any positive results on the pro points plan? i dont want to give up, i actually want to see this plan through till i reach my goal, im not being strict 7 days a week cos i do have the odd party to go to and i will have a drink on a saturday but mon - friday im very good and stay with in my allowance.
i dont no what else to do

I could not get results on Weight Watchers. I would lose 5-10 pounds then stop losing. I needed to change the kinds of foods I was eating not just count Points.0

I'm tracking both calories and points, just to see.
When you say "mon-fri I'm good and stay within my allowance" do you mean on weekends you blow it out of the water? It sounds like no, but figured I'd ask. If you're within your WEEKLY allowance, you're on plan, even if you eat more on weekends. If you're totally off points on weekends, I'm not surprised it's slow.
How long has it been since you lost anything or your body didn't change? Sometimes we just don't notice we're changing but in small increments. Even a half pound every 10 days isn't considered a plateau, in their book.0 -
oh no i dont blow it on the weekends, but i do sometimes go into my 49 allowance but never over my plan entitlement.
its been slow for nearly 3 weeks now....do i just wait it out and see what happens...?0 -
I would give it another week or two at least. It's never linear for me. Do you find it too restrictive? If not, try not to focus on the scale, just learning new habits. You're doing great and I can't imagine you wouldn't lose something at 26 pts, not eating much of the 49 weeklies. Good luck!0

i dont do weight watchers as such but i do eat their brand foods as they are mainly low in calls. ie the can tuna the rice puddings etc.0

You should probably try changing what you are eating. Go with a lot of protein and vegetables, and try to limit your fruit intake even though you have enough pp for them. The slow down may just mean you need an adjustment. Don't quit.
I've been doing WW for the past 10 days and have lost 7 lbs. I just started back on MFP and hope that using the two programs together will help.0
