Weight moves through out the day?

I know you shouldn't jump on the scale several times a day
but When I'm around it i just jump on it to see.

I've noticed that in the morning it'll be one thing and then through
out the day it'll jump around a couple of pounds. It'll go up then down
then up again...ect.

Is this normal or am i doing something wrong?

    food and beverages have weight.

    16 oz of coffee weighs . . . 16 oz. That's a pound.

Um, food and drink has weight. Also not crapping will add to the weight.

Totally normal. I gain 5 pounds every day. And lose 5 pounds every morning while reading shampoo bottles.

Alright, I change my mind. Food can have weight, but only fats.

I just jumped on the scale because it was there- up 4 pounds from this am. I know tomorrow it will be down but I hate to see those numbers!

    Very normal :)
I always weigh myself in the morning cuz I'll probably weigh like a pound less then LOL.
But I consistently weigh myself in the morning ... if I weighed myself at different times of the day, I wouldn't be able to get an accurate figure of how much weight I've lose/gained in general.

    normal.

best and most accurate time is first thing in the morning and totally neked.
  • I hate the scale-those numbers speak volumes of negativity to me.That said, when I started MFP in mid May, I decided to weigh myself once a week-same time. Was doing great until last week, when for no apparent reason, the scale showed a 2 pound gain. I was in the dumps for days. Generally, I gauge how I'm doing by the fit of my clothes, and altho the scale says differently, my clothes still say I'm doing well.
I'd suggest you stay away from it and only check once or twice a week....
