Hey guys, im done week 1 of insanity, i see some slight changes.
I am eating fairly healthy, not watching my calories by any stretch, but eating healthy and natural foods.
I dont eat 5 meals a day, i eat 3 meals, and some snacks here and there (usually fruit).
have any of you guys done the same thing? If so, how did it turn out?
If this helps, im, 5'10 and a half, i weight 190lbs and i am 29% Body fat :P

I do insanity for my cardio, but it isnt any different than any other type of workout or exercise. Exercise doesn't cause you to lose fat, it only allows you to eat more and improve your physical health. The only way to lose fat is to eat at a deficit. Don't believe the misleading Insanity infomercials.0

Hey there! I'm not doing the 5 meals a day thing like they recommend either but I am counting calories and eating at a defecit and I'm keeping my diet as much to the first two tiers of Michi's ladder as possible. It seems to be working ...I'm down 4 pounds in only a few days!0

It's true the infomercial may lead you to believe that but if you read the literature they do say that you need to eat at a defecit to lose.I do insanity for my cardio, but it isnt any different than any other type of workout or exercise. But, I hear you ... counting calories is as important as getting the workouts done!0 -
I eat 5 times a day, but have done that for a few years now. I keep up with everything!!! Food, exercise and drink! I have been doing Insanity for a year and a half and now use it for my cardio and do weights with other dvd's (bob harper, Jackie Warner, etc).....since being on MFP, I have lost 20 lbs, but am down a total of 115 lbs since I started losing weight over 5 yrs ago. Insanity is the best workout I have ever found!! I love everthing about it....use it for your workouts but you have to watch what you eat if you want to lose weight!! Good luck!0

Don't get me wrong Insanity is a great cardio workout, And I knew when I bought it that their infomercials were very misleading, but for the people who dont know any better, they can't read the literature until they have already bought and paid for it. Insanity is such a great program that there isn't a need to mislead people such as the OP.
