Strength training for legs once a week, enough??

I am a runner currently running 3 times per week training for my second half marathon. Right now I am doing a routine where I work lower body (with weights doing lunges, squats, etc. for 20 minutes and abs for 20 minutes. I do a day of upper body/ab weight training.
I feel that since I run my legs get taxed plenty and I don't want to over tire them especially when my distance goes up.

I think I answered my own question... my legs and bum are so sore from yesterday's lower body workout I think once a week will be plenty!!0

Once a week sounds fine, as long as you're still making progress0

I am pretty sure when I trained for my half last year, I didn't do much as far as strength goes for my legs, especially when I got to higher mileage. I would say that if your sore like you said, don't overdo it. Your legs are getting a good workout with the running.0
