Net calories?

Ok, Im trying to figure out what net calories mean.I know that sounds weird. I guess I just never bothered to care?

I thinnnnnk net calories are what you eat minus what you worked out. For example lets say you ate 1800 calories today but burned 400 from running, your net calories for the day would be 1400. Thats my understanding of net calories, but I could be very wrong! Ha ha.0

^^^ You're correct. Think if it this way. You get paid so much per hour - that's your gross pay (think of this as your food). Uncle Sam gets his share (your exercise) and what you end up with is your net.0
