Military mom support

Hi, my son just left for the Army, Monday.
I'm having an emotional rollercoaster, as it's hard to let go.
Any other Moms out there losing weight & have a child in the military?
Please feel free to add me if you do (or even if you don't lol)

    Hey powerflower, just want to congratulate you on having a son that is willing to commit to such a venture. It's not for everyone, but I'm sure he knows what he's getting himself into. My dad is about to retire from the Army and my husband has about 10 years in. It's a wild ride, for sure, but one I'm sure he'll grow a lot from. Bless you for being so strong!! Army Strong!! And bless your son on his brand new journey. HOOAH.

    I'm not in your position yet, but I will be. My son was just sworn in to the US Marine Corps TODAY. He doesn't leave until next April, though. I'm so proud of him.

    Be proud and hang in there. You have raised a great young man and you should be very, very proud.

    Feel free to add me to your friends and keep in touch. Us awesome Military Moms need to stick together.
