So I used to take lexapro in which made me gain a lot of weight. which wasn't helping at all due to I was misdiagnosed and I was telling my doctor that it wasn't working. To make a long story short, I take lamictal which is used for bipolar 1 disorder and I haven't found that its made me gain any weight, but I haven't lost any either. So I'm looking for a type of diet that will be ok with me taking lamictal that wont effect the medication.
I know with some meds if you don't eat enough you can get dizzy or an upset stomach.
Thanks for the help and the advice.

As far as I know there are no diet restrictions with Lamictal. In the past I had successfully lost 40lbs while on it. Keep exercising and stay on your calories as with all meds it can mess with you at some point. You may find that you have to work a little harder to get your results.

I'm taking lamotrigine (generic lamictal) and I've found it's actually more of a struggle to eat ENOUGH nowdays, since my appetite dropped like a rock.0
