I work out 5-6 times a week, and I was doing really well eating wise, but now I can't seem to consume ENOUGH calories! My metabolism is definitely speeding up which is great, but although I'm hungry more often I get full very quickly. I know I need to eat more, but I also don't like forcing myself to eat...Suggestions???

I've been told to eat nuts and protein items like eggs and red meat or chicken to help with the calories. It adds up quickly and you don't have to eat as much food then. You could have protein shakes or add the powder to a smoothie, also.

Eat smaller meals more often. Healthy snacks and such. Some experts recommend eating 6 smaller meals per day rather than the 3 traditional ones. This may help in your case.

    Get some nuts in ya!

    That sounded kind of wrong...

but nuts are full of nutrition and are high in calories! Almonds, walnuts, cashews (my fave), peanuts, macadamias.... so many yummy options!
  • Them don't force, just eat as much as you can :) I personally don't believe the whole "you have to eat a certain amout or STARVATION MODE NO WEIGHT LOSS OMG," everyone is different and has their own limits. Eat hwalthy and make your calories worth it, and your body will be more concerned with nutrients than calories it took to get there. Though I would suggest juices if you're really having problems getting there, they're easy to consume.
  • Hello,
Try smaller meals more often. High protien like nuts, shakes, canned tuna, salmon. I have to be careful of carbs and sugars so I don't do a lot of fruit, but I do love veggies, celery, radishes and such. Good luck.

Nuts nuts nuts! They have helped me sooo much when it comes to eating more. The almonds I have are like 170 calories for 24 of them. They are awesome!
