Chocolate Filled Strawberries

I saw this on Pinterest and thought I should try it - win win for everyone in my family and a win win for my waistline!

Just hull out medium/large strawberries, melt some chocolate chips in the microwave, and spoon the melted chocolate inside the strawberries. It only took about 30 seconds to a minute to melt the chocolate. Each strawberry took a little less than a teaspoon of chocolate to fill. Then stick them into the fridge to harden up. It's like a chocolate covered strawberry but without the mess.

How I calculated it was each strawberry is about 4 calories, and a tablespoon of chocolate chips were 70 - so for 3 filled strawberries it was 82 calories.

How do you hull out the middle. This sounds really good and I would like to try it

Cut off the top part where the stem is, and then take your knife around the rim - where there is a line between the white middle and the red outside part. Just circle around in a cone shape. Hope this helps.

I've seen on Pinterest, that you can hull a strawberry by using a straw. Hope this helps.
