Strada Nutrition (UK)

So my friend, her boyfriend and I are going to Strada Friday evening and after browsing the menu online I have decided on the pizza Rossa (Calabria) - Spicy southern Italian salami, roasted red peppers, chilli, caramelised onion, garlic, fresh oregano and mozzarella on a tomato base. After checking the nutritional information on the site it told me that this will be 1107 calories (yelp!)

I would order this without cheese though. Can anyone put a guess as to what the calories would be without it? I'm no good at this sort of thing. NO idea what the break down of carbs/fat/protein would be either - so no idea how to log it.

After logging my breakfast smoothie and 1/2 a pot of Sainsbury's Fresh Tomato and Basil Soup for lunch I am left with 753 calories broken down into 83c 23f 76p. I know I will be going over on calories, but we get to treat ourselves every now and then, right? And I'll try and be good tomorrow and Saturday to make up for it. Can't exercise it off unfortunately.

I have contacted Strada though the 'contact us' link but as yet no one has got back to me.

  • I just had this as a response, which is not that helpful..

"Thank you for your email and I regret to inform you that I will be unable to provide you with the information requested at present.

We are currently in the process of having all our core menu dishes nutritionally analysed but unfortunately this information will not be available to our customers until next year.

We do get a lot of such requests and I would like to advise you that dishes that are suitable for our customers on a calorie controlled diet are currently being looked at to feature on our menus."
