Do you use your left foot to brake your car, or do you use your right foot to brake and accelerate?

Only unintentionally - my current car is the first automatic I've owned, so I still sometimes go to hit my non-existent clutch and end up braking. Oops0

My left foot is for the clutch... like a real man.0

I guess I'm not a real man. I've driven a manual. terrible I know...0

My personal car is a manual and my work car is auto....I'm always hitting the non-existent clutch and trying to shift in the work car :blushing:
But to answer the question....Right foot for gas and brake.0 -
Only once, when I was approaching a red light, the carpet wedged the gas pedal, preventing it to disengage @ 50km/hr.
I used my left foot to step on the brakes and my right foot to kick the carpet free.
Other than that one time, sacrilege!0 -
Definitely the right foot. Unless I'm power stalling a fine USA made rear wheel drive0

My left foot is for the shifter. Right foot is for the rear brake.0

Left foot is clutch only, two footed drivers give me the ****s! How can you drive along with your foot on the brake all the time?! I did do it by accident once in a friend's auto, we stopped bloody fast! Lol0

Thank you all! :bigsmile:0

It's just plain dangerous.
I avoid riding with people who do it.0 -
Most of the time...I brake and drive with my right foot.
However, on those occasions when I sprained my ankle, I drove with my left foot. No big difference, but then again, I can write with both hands as well, so it isn't much of an adjustment.0 -
Only when I'm operating a forklift or other machinery that requires being ramped up.0

I keep my left foot free to kick open the door in cases of road raged asshats that need to be put in their place.0

I have a stick-shift. I brake and accelerate with my right, because if I didn't, my car would die, a lot. Clutches are kinda necessary, and since I don't have three feet, that task falls to the left. My engine thanks me for the courtesy of running smoothly.0

Every time I rent a car and it's an automatic, I spend the first five miles accidentally braking the car suddenly because I go to hit the non-existent clutch. Whoever is with me always finds it hilarious.0 -
I think I use my right foot. Because my left foot is busy using the clutch.0
