Today's challenge: Crunches

Let's see if we can do 200.

Also, let's try and do 50 sit-ups. If you can't do sit-ups that's fine but at least try.

Remember: The new rules are do as many as you can in the first set then do the rest how ever many you want at a time.

Do them the hardest way that you can and practice proper form instead.

You can do the crunches any style you want.
If you can't do them all then do what you can.
The important thing is that you try to do it.
Make sure you stretch and have fun doing them.
Report back when you are done and let us know how you did.

My challenges are open to anyone and you can log these as calisthenics if you like.

I know this is off topic, but I have a question. I routinely (3 to 4 times per week) do an ab routine that includes: four sets of incline sit-ups (25 reps each) and four sets of crunches (25 reps each). I do one sent of sit-ups and crunches consecutively without rest and I use 15lbs of plates on the crunch bench. The last two sets of sit-ups, I hold a 10lb weight as long as I can (lately about 15 reps). After the sit ups/crunches, I do a lower ab exercise 20 reps times three sets. Ive been building up to this routine for about 1.5 months. My question is this: I have a rather large surgical scar that runs vertically from my solar plexus to just below my navel and also a horizontal scar from my left to right side that follows my lower rib cage outline. Does this mean I can't get abs? I mean, I do alot of exercising. I am 5'10" and 170lbs. I have a 30" waist. My stomach feels hard when I flex, but I don't seem to be able to develop the "six pack". Any suggestions?

Those famous 6 pack abs take A LOT of work and dedication. 1.5 months is no where near enough to cut it. But, keep working at it, if that is what you want, you will eventually get there!

Cycle your carbs. Do your cardio in a fasting state. Like when you get up or 2 to three hours after your last meal.
