Should I change my activity level?

My activity level is currently set at sedentary. I have a desk job, but workout at least 5 times per with 30 min cardio sessions and 2-3 times per week I do a full body weight routine. Should I change my level to lightly active?

Yes, definitely change it. You need to be sure you are eating enough for your activity level.

I was told to base your activity level on what you do through most of the day. You have a desk job (like me) we are mostly on our butts for the day. And then only exercise for a small portion of the day. I would say keep it where it is, because it is sedentary.

Yes, I would. And I did. When I set my activity level to sedentary, it gave me a goal of less than my BMR so I put it to lightly active.

If you do change it to lightly active, don't 'eat back' any exercise calories.
