http://smittenkitchen.com/2010/03/baked-kale-chips/

one cup or so, has 43 calories, 7 carbs, and 3 grams of fiber! :)

they are super filling as well, and you can season them any way you like! i wonder if you can do this with other kinds of vegetables... anybody have ideas? anybody ever make them? how do you season them? :) i season mine with garlic powder and olive oil :) sometimes red pepper flakes :D

On the squash chips, slice very thin (recommend a mandoline here) or they won't crisp up (but will still be delish!) I'll have to try the Kale chips! That sounds very yummy!

I tried making Kale chips once. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but they came out more like kale ashes than anything. Thanks for the link. I may give it another try.

I looooooove kale chips. I didn't look at your recipe, but I never even use oil anymore, just sprinkle with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powders, and nutritional yeast. Yuuuum.

I would guess they baked too hot or for too long. They don't take much time, I think maybe 20ish minutes.

    haha :D

season them with nutritional yeast! if you've never had it before it sounds super weird, but its a great "seasoning" (sprinkle on kale chips, popcorn, salads..etc) and its reaaaaaallllyy suppppper duuuuppper good for you.

It's pushing a thread up to the top again so it doesn't get "lost."

I will try your recipe. It sounds very tasty!
