Lack of support from family members?

Hey everyone!
This is just a quick question! With a little rant, I am sorry.
Since I last weighed myself on Saturday I've lost 9.5 lbs. Before hand, I was bingeing and eating waay over my calorie allowance (like 5000 cals a day sometimes!) I've cut that down to 2000 a day and I'm really ecstatic with my weightloss so far. My mum and grandmother were too. They were very proud because whenever I was upset I would binge. It was my coping mechanism. Now I'm trying so hard to stop that.
However, I told my sister and I had a very muted response. Not that I expected to me lauded, but a little well done would of been nice. She had a baby in April and since then has been trying so hard to work it off and so far has lost 2 stone. Which I think is amazing. She's currently on this Dukan diet thing, and eating very little, so it could just be she was having an off day. When I told my mother this, she replied 'Don't you know, she's jealous!'
I don't see how, my sister is like 14 stone, nearly 13, and is really fit compared to me being nearly 18 stone and a reforming couch potato.
Does anyone have/had this? Or am I blowing this out of proportion? Thanks everyone.

Dont let this get you down, do what you do. Even if they love you, ppl can and will be jealous of your success. My best suggestion is figure out who is on your team and who is not. Dont stop talking to them but maybe not talk about that particular subject. Some ppl want to hear, and some ppl dont. I have this same issue, im not mad at them. This is for you and can only be done by you. Good luck!!! Oh and your doing great keep it up!0

Actually, it could be jealousy because you've lost more weight in a short period of time compared to her. I say keep doing what you are doing & stay in the positive with talking to your mom and grandmom. Don't let the "not so nice" derail what you've done so far. Stay positive & keep pushing forward & keep setting your little goals.0

I agree with Kiml122 and rexzmum. She might be jealous because she has a smaller amount and it is taking time to come off, where as you have lost a lot in comparison. If she isn't being supportive, don't discuss this with her. Don't necessarily avoid it, just don't bring it up.
Keep up the good work.0 -
Thank you guys!
You know when you just need to let something out....eurgh.
You are all so supportive. x0 -
Yes STAY POSITIVE!!! I recently had to move home with my parents (AHHHHHHH!!!!!) who fry EVERYTHING and put butter in EVERYTHING and don't try and be active at ALL.... So when I want to bake the chicken it's like WW3 up in here! It can be very discouraging for me when they all laugh cause I choose the healthier choice or when they laugh at me for working out. But I refuse to let anyone or anything stand in the way of my goal!!! You shouldn't either! Keep at it! You sound like you are doing an amazing job0
