SNACK HELP!

Options
I work at a daycare and there are always tons of tempting foods in the cabinets for snack time.. cheese-its, pretzels, animal crackers, cookies m&m's and the list goes on and on. I bring my own snack to avoid sneaking into the cabinets, but I'm running out of ideas.. I normally bring fruit, mini luna bars, string cheese.. does anyone have any new ideas??

What you describe in the cabinets is poison. It's summer time. Eat fruit that is not available later on. melons, pitches. berries...

    Frozen grapes
    Berries
Yogurt and gronola (if you can keep it cold)
    Frozen bananas!
    Crackers with cheese
A platter of veggies, dips, crackers and cheese?

I think little "Munchie" things help a lot

Some of my go-to snacks include:

    almonds
cottage cheese (especially the prepacked 100 calorie packs w/ fruit)
    greek yogurt
    protien bars
    carrots & hummus
    hard boiled eggs

Quacker quakes lots of different flavors but I have only tried the tomato and basil if you are looking for a crunch.

Sugar free jello or puddings for sweet

All that you mention is not good for you especially if you eat it every day. Maybe just treat yourself to one day of eating those bad snacks. other days be sure to take your fruit with you ( I try to make a large fruit salad at the beginning of the week), hummus and cucumber is good and maybe some fiber bars. good luck, be strong!

what's wrong with pretzels and animal crackers? I eat them a couple times a week. Just have to stick to a serving size.

I do second fruit. I'm a big fan of dried fruit too!
    yogurt
    cucumbers with italian dressing

Corn thins are like Rice Cakes, but a bit nicer and made from corn! Then add some almond butter (Natural, 100%almonds) and banana :)

Also almond butter can we bought in the organic or spreads section! (in AUS, it's in woollies!)
