i have a wrist tattoo that i did when i was younger and i would like to cover it up with something else. my tattoo is on the wrist and is a M and i wanna cover it up. :( any ideas ?

    dermablend is good, but if you're on a budget use concealer and powder. you're gonna dab with the concealer brush, then put powder over it with a brush. repeat for at least 3 layers

    I have a tattoo I have hated for a few decades. I am getting it removed with an acid type wash at my local tattoo parlor. cheaper and more effective than laser removal. Call around and see if this is available where you live. My whole removal is about 200.

    I can't see the pic you posted but is it black? You will probably need laser if it is but remember that it won't be removed completely and you will need to choose something else to cover it.

    What I would suggest is waiting until you know what you want, I know you'r e only looking for suggestions but if your hearts not in it you will be in the same situation a few months down the line.

    What about your favourite flower? They are usually a good subject for a cover up.

    Talk to a couple tattoo artists and tell them the three things you love. e.g.. puppys, fast cars, and chocolate ice cream and see what they come up with. They are artists. Me I failed at stick men and not an artistic bone in my body, so I tell the artist what I'm thinking and he draws a picture to see if I like it.

    Edit: Of course this is MFP, so make that fat free chocolate ice cream. :wink:
