Stalled

I have using MFP for about 45 days now, and I have lost 21 pounds. Im delighted, but recently things have stalled. This past 3 weeks I have lost about 2 pound and todays weigh on was no loss and no gain. But for my size I really need to lose. I know scales are hated by some, but I need the re assurance in my own OCD kind of way.
I never go over on my calories, sodium etc. And this week I burst my b**ls excercising. Does this happen due to more excercise/muscle gain? or should I sign up for one of those online diets to make sure im doing everything right?
I cycle 6.5 Miles everyday. And every other day, I do couch to 5k (now finishing week 4)
Please advise

if you've lost a chunk of weight you would expect to drop your calorie intake in response, did you do that ? maybe re-run your goals on here.0

Yeah I did that0 -
Been through this so many times and you know what worked for me? Putting on my running shoes and while shouting "f*** you scale", running around. Always made me feel so good and took away any frustration or stress.0

Am I just being impatient then? I am looking better (clothes fit better)0

REcheck your numbers and eat a little higher.
I tend to disagree with Yarrow on this point.
Check out Fat to Fit Radio and use the body fat tools.
Enter all your info into the BMR tool next and put current weight in the goal weight spot.
The light activity number will probably be what you burn a day.
Cut 20% from that and eat that daily.
Dont enter workouts or eat back any cals.
I can almost guarantee youll start losing weight again.

You've lost almost a half pound a day for 45 days! That's not a stall, that's the opposite. Lack of scale movement for one day is nothing. Did you really lose all of that 21 lbs. in the first 3 weeks of your 6 weeks of dieting? It never comes off in a perfect linear fashion.
Weigh weekly. Being OCD about it is fine but realize it's going to drive you insane until you get used to normal (slow) losses. Keep doing what you're doing. But be patient.
Working out like a fiend is going to make you retain water and mask scale movement for a while. Try to work out at a level you can sustain for the long term.0 -

Yeah I lost loads in the first 2 weeks (mostly water)
Sounds like good advice0 -
Might try opening your diary (even just to friends with a password) and get them to help you tweak your diet. I have seen tons of diaries that are "under on the calorie goal" but not constructed well to aid in weight loss. So take a look at what you are doing. A "diet" is not necessary just perhaps a bit of education, I have lost nearly 50 lbs in 6 months just eating right and working out so it does work to create a sustainable eating pattern and lose weight. There will be plateau's but if it hasn't been a month with no loss it isn't a plateau, lol. You body sometimes has to adjust to new weight, the way you are eating or some mysterious thing it wants to do. IF you are eating right, moving more and staying under then it will come off, patience works.0

Keep in mind as you approach your goal, you need to reduce the caloric deficit as your body can't sustain huge losses. So you can' t always aim to lose 2 lbs a week. Also, you are fairly active, so are you eating some of your exercise calories? Or did you set your lifestyle to lightly or moderate active? As you burn more calories, you need to consume more. Bodies can hold onto calories as fat, in order to maintain a decent source of energy for later. So how many calories are you eating>?
If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal,
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal,
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal,
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal, and
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal.0 -
I was eating 1680 but now down to 15000

Doing that will just increase the chances of muscle loss. As a reference point i am 5'11", 200 lbs and 29 years old and i eat 2600 calories to lose weight. I exercise 6 days a week doing clx.0

It's possible that you've hit the dreaded plateau. Everybody's got some good suggestions, so you might find that you may have to do some tweaking (I'm the last to give advice on what to do to tweak, I've been plateaued for three months and the only thing my tweaks do is cause me to gain) just to give you a jump start and it may take a couple different things to get the scale going down again.
Good Luck!0
