im looking at becoming pregnant again in the very near future, im scared tho as iv worked so hard to get into shape and reach my goal weight.
i dont really wanna change anything im doing but dunno if this would be bad for the baby! i wont be increasing cals that much maybe extra 300 a day at the most! and atm i go to zumba twice a week and biking 3 times a week with daily walks. i wont be changing this! my partner thinks im mad and should stop exercise so just wondering what did you do??
thanks

Well I was 15 when I was pregnant so I didn't really change what I ate cause my mum was still cooking for me but I remember the midwife saying I could keep going to dance classes cause I'd been doing them all my life.I went 4 times a week until I was 34 weeks. I think you're not suppose to start any new exercise regimes but you can continue your usual ones just take it a little easier as your bump starts to grow.
Did you gain much when you were last pregnant? I think you're very wise trying to be healthy when pregnant. It will benefit both you and baby xxxxxx0 -
I went to spin and body pump for 8 months of my last pregnancy.0

Ah right. All pregnancies very different then. I've only been pregnant the once so I'm probably not the best person to give advice. Good luck with it all though xxxx0

You should set your calories to maintenance in the 1st trimester. You need to make sure you're getting enough calories. Then add a little in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. I am 34 weeks pregnant and still do everything I did pre-pregnancy except for run. I have had to slow down the last several weeks, but I still get in 45 minutes to an hour of cardio most days and lift weights 20 minutes 2 times a week. Unfortunately I have still gained 36 lbs. I gained 45 with both of my previous pregnancies and wasn't doing nearly this amount of exercise or being conscious of my eating. Your body will gain what it needs to -- listen to it. If you feel good, exercise ... if you feel terrible, slow down. Fill up on nutritious foods and allow yourself some splurges. Then get back on track after baby is born.0
