My view from my bike ride this morning

I was very tempted to skip work and just stay at the beach.

    The picture was taken just at sunrise with me standing right behind my car. The black area is the sand and I did not zoom my iPhone at all. The boats were bait fishing and probably less then 100 yards from shore. The Atlantic was glass this morning.

    And again this morning (thursday)
    This is at the halfway point where I will turn around and head back south.
    The building is the lifeguard shack and the jetty in the distance is the Boynton Inlet. It connects the Intercoastal waterway to the Atlantic ocean.

    Pretty! I'll be at the beach for a whole week next month. Granted, it's only Galveston and not that pretty, but it's still a beach!
