Struggling with sugar

So the past few weeks I have been struggling A LOT with sugar, I have been craving it almost constantly. I've always had a sweet tooth but usually I can control it fairly well, until now, and I have been overdoing it lately. I haven't really been stressed out lately either. Anyone have any suggestions on getting this under control?

This may not be the answer you want but I find that it is true for me....the less sugar I have, the less sugar I crave. If I have a little dessert after lunch then I want some after dinner. If I focus on fruits, veggies and protein then I have less sugar cravings. It takes a while to kick in but cutting down on sugar eventually leads to wanting it less (at least for me). I also find that diet soda can induce cravings for me.0

I agree with @mpaoce in that the less I eat, the less I crave. I do believe that the body gets addicted to not only sugar, but all refined products, fats and salt. The best thing to do is not buy them. If you don't buy them, you can't eat them!
It may very well be that your body is craving nutrients, but you are interpreting that for wanting sugar. If you feed your body what it needs versus what you crave, the cravings should lessen.
I have found some foods to be especially satisfying are to make smoothies. Try 1 cup of any frozen fruit or fruit combo, 1 cup of any kind of juice (I like 100% cherry juice), one apple chopped into small chunks (preferably a crunchy tart/sweet kind like granny smith or braeburn) and a handful of baby spinach. Put all this in a blender and liquify until smooth. It's sweet, but very healthy too. For the frozen fruit, I recommend blueberries and/or strawberries.0
