I have both kinds of scales. I have a five pound diffrence between the two. I know which weight I would want to keep but which one is more accurate?

I have a digital and an mechanical scale too and the digital weighs me 5 lbs more too. I just go with the digital because it seems to be pretty accurate and consistent and frankly, I can read the display on the digital better than I can read the dial on the mechanical. Sometimes I can't tell if it's 183 or 184 on the dial whereas the digital will tell me "183.2".
I used the digital scales measurement only because it seems most consistent with the readings I got on the Doctor's office scale when I was there.0
