Looking to eat better and get back into shape

Hello All

I'm Brenda. I'm a 47-year-old mother of two four-legged children - Cocker Spaniels.

I've always thought I eat well. I shop everyday and eat fresh. My general rule for food is that if my great-grandmother wouldn't recognize it, or I can't pronounce it - I won't eat it.

Then I did my first ever 12-day herbal detox and cleanse that had a no sugar, no gluten diet to it. It sent me in other directions for food and inspired me to do a diet make-over. I actually found I lost 4 pounds in about three weeks by eating breakfast again! (I had been skipping for far too long).

I've also let my fitness routine totally lapse and am working on changing that too. I'm trying to get out there for a run, go to a yoga class, go swimming or biking.... you know, get moving more than just walking the dogs!

So I'd appreciate nudging and promise to return the favor!
