But I dont think I can. I tend to hide my eating and lack motivation a lot! I had gastric bypass in 2009 and have really struggled this 3rd year. I need some help to keep myself honest and motivated! I am hoping some of you feel the same way and we can help eachother!!!
Let me know! Add me!!

Everyone needs that support system, to be understood. No you can't do it on your own. I now I struggle everyday with food, exercise and finding the motivation in my busy day to keep up with it all.

Sara, plenty of us on here get embarrassed at our over eating. But hiding it only creates more guilt and then just creates a cycle that prompts more over eating. Log it all be fair to yourself. No one is perfect. I have a BBQ this weekend I know I am going to over indulge but I will log it down. One so that I can see where and what my triggers to unhealthy eating are so that I can handle them better in the future. Two so that I can see if I can get any additional exercise in during the day so that I can limit the damage. But I don't think about it an move on. Tomorrow is another chance. JUST KEEP AT IT!!! This site is great to motivation so just give a shout out. We will all be here!!

  • Thanks for the words! I did log one day when I went 300 calories over...but I place my goal at 1200 which is about 400 less than I technically could eat and still lose weight but once something goes wrong I say, oh Ill start again tomorrow....and the same thing the next day and the next....I want to stop this!
