Exercise and insomnia??

I'm at my wits end. For the past week I've had trouble sleeping. I lay in bed tossing and turning for a good 3-4 hours before I fall asleep, shifting from boiling to freezing and back again. The only things I've changed in the past week is I'm now taking CLA and also taking Glucosamine. Neither of which have any reported side effects of causing insomnia at all.
I've also increased the intensity of my workouts, is it possible in any way that this is what's causing it. And if not, what is?
I JUST WANT SOME SLEEP!!!

What time in the day do you usually work out? Exercise gets your adrenaline going, so if you're working out late afternoon/evening that may be a reason why you can't get any sleep.
My cousin was taking CLA and she said it makes her hot and sweat a lot, so maybe the change in your body temperature is another factor in why you can't get comfortable.
Do you ever go to bed hungry? With these more intense workouts you could be burning more calories than you have coming in. Make sure your net calories are at least 1200 a day.
I've always had trouble sleeping so I know how frustrating it can be, hopefully it will sort itself out when your body adjusts to your new routines!0 -
I always exercise at lunch time, the only exercise I do in the evening is yoga and I don't do it every night. It was my day off the gym today also and I still can't sleep.
It's 1am right now and I'm sitting in the middle of my lounge floor, in the pitch black with my iPad, desperately googling every possible thing that I've done in the past week that could have caused this. I am honestly about to ball my eyes out.0 -

shifting from boiling to freezing and back again.
It only happens while I'm actually in my bed, if I get up an wander around the house my temperature is normal.0 -
I don't really care where it happens. It's not part of insomnia and it could mean something else is going on.0

It may be the increased workouts. Try going back to you previous level + a little and see how you do.0
