Hello Everyone,
I am not new to the site, but new to the community. I am looking to drop over 130lbs when it is all said and done. It is about time that I got serious and it doesn't hurt to have some fab people in your corner.
I started gaining weight when I was about 10 while remaining pretty active in sports (swimming, baseball, football, basketball, etc.), but when I stopped playing all the sports I really started to pack it on. Over the years, I have gone up and down some -- even lost over 100lbs at one point in college, but put it back on slowly.
Today, I am not the largest I have ever been, but I am not getting any younger either. My son is just a hair over 18mos old and I need to make sure I am around for him. The thing is, even if I don't get to spend fifty years or more with him, I want him to grow up with a fun, fit, and active father who can keep pace with him.
My goal is to not only drop this poundage, but be in the best shape of my life. I cannot wait to have more energy than anyone I know and take on any physical challenge this world can throw at me....even if it is pizza!
I look forward to shared success with all of you! Thanks!
