    Ok. I've already been to Karyn's, Handlebar, Chicago Diner and Native Foods. I'd love to hear some other suggestions. ;-)

    Vegan from the western suburbs sorry i don't know too many good restaurants, but i do know some of the many farmers markets.

    There is healthy food in Chicago? I used to live there and I have tons of family there...I always hate visiting because I gain weight EVERY time I go lol.

    Near chicago!

    Close enough i can take an hour train ride up and see the sights and sounds of chicago and far enough away im surrounded by corn fields and have deer eating in my front yard.

    I grew up in Kankakee, now I live in Madison, WI! I lived in California for a few years, and I have to say....I freaking love the Midwest!

    I'm from Chicago! I have yet to find healthy places to eat... I usually stick to making my own food. But Trader Joe's is an awesome grocery store. :)
