Lost 3.5 lbs in 7 days?

So, I started on Monday weighing about 306 pounds, now I weigh 302 pounds .
I've worked out excessively and have been eating alright.
Is that healthy for me to lose almost 4lbs in a week? /: Should I slow down on the exercise, etc? Thanks!

Let us know if the number remains the same because if it does not I am thinking it could be water weight combined. What are your calories set too?

I've done it. It is healthy. It all depends on your body and how much fat is in it. People lose weight VERY fast in the beginning, it's totally fine.

Probably mostly water weight at first, that goes fast then it will slow down.

Agree with this.... The very first week someone makes changes like that they usually lose more, then it levels off. If it continues, then that's awesome. Well done on making a lifestyle change, too.

It could be water weight, but when people who have quite a bit to lose begin their weight loss, it's pretty normal to lose that much.

Yes, it is fine. Many people often lose quite a lot of weight that first week, the second week can be quite good too, thereafter the loss tends to slow down.

    Well done!! :flowerforyou:

Yes, I think this is totally ok. This doesn't mean that every week you will have a big loss, but as long as you are eating and working out then you are on the right track! ;)

My first week I lost 5.4lbs, then 13 total my first month. So it is possible. Tons of water weight I am sure because I quit pop cold turkey when i started.

You've been doing great all week. loads of exercise and good food choices. I started at a similar weight on the 23rd of May since then I've lost 22lb. It's early days and the weight will fall off to begin with. Don't worry.
