H2O Intake

I eat a lot of broth-based soup and was wondering if I can count the broth as part of my water intake? :drinker: Similarly, could I count a glass of juice as H2O intake. It would make sense as I count a cup of tea/coffee, but wanted to double check what other MFPs are doing.
Cheers!

i would say no. always think smart! underestimate calories burned, over estimate cal intake. broth such as swanson has a lot of sodium!

You shouldn't be counting anything other than water as your water intake. Pure water is essential and will ultimately help control eating habits and flush your kidneys appropriately. Otherwise it would just be "liquid intake" and not "Water intake".
Make sense?0 -
I agree, only pure water should be counted as water! Otherwise you could count a coke b/c it has carbonated water in it! Drink the 64 oz of water and you find the other stuff isn't needed. I would go for an apple vs. apple juice, better use of cals!!!0

How many ounces of water do you aim to drink each day?0
