How many calories do you burn if you do zumba for an hr?

    I see some people log as much as 1000+ calories in one hour of Zumba. No less than 700.

    I often wonder that myself! I found a "Zumba Calories Burned" calculator online, but I'm not so sure that it is very accurate. I want to get a heart rate monitor to see if what I've been logging (about 500 an hour) is correct. The calorie burns I see always seem very high. I'm sure it varies a lot from class to class.
