Hello from Melbourne, Australia

Hi Everyone,

I'm Kate, I'm 25 years old and reside in the northern suburbs of Melbourne in Australia. I've been overweight my entire life and was at my biggest of 110kgs (242lbs) about 3 or 4 years ago. I'm currently 106.3kgs (234lbs).

I have been on a multitude of diets and lifestyle changing programs (too many to list but just think of all the major programs and then some) and I'm getting a little tired of my current size. I'm a compulsive emotional eater and have recently come to realise the fact that I fear change (seeing that I've always been overweight) and self sabotage whenever someone notices a change (ie. loss of weight etc.) which I hope to overcome so I can live the life I'm meant to live. I also suffer from low confidence and self esteem which doesn't help the emotional eating.

I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome about 10 years ago but have yet to do anything to counter the symptoms - I want that to change.

I would love to have some motivational friends on my friends list to give that extra push to keep up with this journey.
