I have lost about 80 pounds so far. My average loss per month was 5 pounds/month. I have about 30 or so more pounds to lose, and they're VERY slow coming off (the last several weeks). Is this normal? I know I heard the last 10 pounds were hard to lose, but could it be the last 30 pounds for me are hard to lose?
What was your rate of weight loss?

I lost 40 the first 4 months I was on here and have been battling the last 20 for the last 4 months, Its very slow coming off. I was losing about 3 LBS a week when I started.0 -
your body is changing and you are probably plateuing. i am struggling to lose my last 10lb but at the same time i am gaining muscle wich is not bad. dont go by the scale too much. measure your chest, waist, hips, legs, arms and see if you are losing inches.maybe you are gaining muscle. if you are the same, then you need to change your exercise routine and bring more intensity to start seeing more results.0

Come to think of it, I am noticing the addition of some muscle. Maybe that's what's going on. I really do need to stop looking at the scale so much.0

My weight loss has slowed tremendously. Although it is still moving down, it isn't going as quickly as it was. I (and several others) have noticed a big difference in my body shape though. I have much more muscle definition and actual curves instead of the old lumps I had.
Have you measured yourself recently? How are your clothes fitting? You have come such a long way Amy and are getting much closer to your goal. Your body wants to stay the same so you are fiting nature the whole way. I think that after a while our bodies try to slam on the brakes because the change has been so great. Keep at it and eventually you will get where you want to be0 -
Thanks, Vicky! I do notice that I am going down in clothing sizes, so that's good.0
