38 & never dieted... Need to lose 40# or so

Hi,
I am a stay at home, home schooling mom of 3 (ages 8,4,&2). I was thin all of my life, that is until my late 20s. I began dating my now husband, and started eating out more. I was also told I was borderline PCOS. I put on 25 lbs. almost overnight. I was fatigued a lot of the time as well, so I think at least some of it was hormonal.

With my pregnacies I gained 20lbs and weighed less than prepregnancy weight immediately following delivery. Another reason I think it is hormonal. Unfortunately it came back on (and more) within a year or so postpartum.

I am 5 ft. 4 in. and weigh 170 (the scale says l have dropped 2 lbs in the last 10 days or so as I was 172). My goal right now is to lose another 38 lbs. I know I will feel much better at that weight and still be healthy. I will reevaluate my goals as I reach my target weight. I am all new to this but I have officially put myself on my priority list. My family is very supportive and I am ready to git r done .

    I am 38yrs old...5'7" and had 40 pounds to lose.. I am down about 24 now...feel free to add me!

    I should also mention...before March of this year... I had NEVER exercised a day in my life!! Now I am sad on the days that I can't!
