I feel like it would be easier to type a list of food that I CAN have in the house....

    ^^This statement is EVERYTHING.

    Cereal (granola especially)
    Peanut Butter
    Chocolate Bars

I know a massive binge is coming on if I find myself buying any of these. Makes me really sad because I love peanut butter, just can't trust myself around it :(

What are your 'can't be around' foods?

No peanut butter doesn't sound like a house I would like to live in......

Cookies/bars. Especially chocolate chip, but pretty much any kind don't make it in my house. I can not stop at just 1 or 2. Nope...I'll eat all of them!

Anything except for badly cooked collard greens. The well-cooked ones cannot be in the house either.

Pizza ! Any pizza. It's my kryptonite. Pizza is a lot like sex, when it's good - it's GREAT, and when it's not so good - well, it's still good.

peanuts. i let myself have "everything" in moderation, but peanuts will just get eaten in large portions before i realize i'm full.

    This. ^^ <
    +1 This

... and chips, ice cream, cookies, candies, chocolates.

I find myself thinking irrational thoughts, such as, "I need to hurry up and eat it all so it won't be around to tempt me." ??? LOL

    This too ^^

Peanut butter is good for you. At some point in life you'll need self control.

Doritos, mixed nuts. I used to think nuts were a healthy snack alternative - until I started logging them in and realized how many calories they are! I have a peanut addiction, I think, so can't even start on those.

    kettle_chips.jpg

Actually, any crisps... until late last year when I decided enough was enough as I had a goal of fat-stripping. There are a couple of bags in the cupboard but I have resisted them for the last few months as just looking at them makes me think how I'd be further from my goal.

But by golly my mouth is watering looking at that jpg.

    Oreos.
Large bags of pecans or almonds (single serving bags are okay).
Chips and REALLY good fresh salsa or guacamole. (I've gotten around then by using cucumbers in my salsa but I will eat the entire container in one day).

Me too. And it's a short list. The longer I struggle to keep going down the scales the more I appreciate having at least a car trip between me and the nearest temptation. Except once a month, I think having M&Ms on hand for that week is simply safer for everyone around me!
