Dude, that's a lot. I don't know man. Just sayin'. You may not make it through. It's different when it's just one in one spot, but you start doing one arm, then the back, then the other arm...you're body may not take that well. Do you have any now? Have you ever had one? It's not exactly a walk in the park.

Personally, I think it's too much. I would be worried of an artist that would even be willing to do that. Anyway, good luck. Maybe do a little research. That's a lot of damage in one sitting.

    I agree.

It'd be a bit different if it was small 10-15 min tattoos but they don't look small.

I had my ribs done this year and that was 3hours, I don't think my body could have taken any more beatings that day lol.

I have 6 other tattoos and one of them was a 2 hour one. I have a high pain tolerance. I was tortured for 6 hours once and at the end of that I told them to send in their mom. my pain tolerance is high. the artist I'm going to has been at it for a long time, he's faster than most, this should only take 3 or 4 hours. I'm not too worried, if it's too much after the first 2 i might come get the other another day.

I've got a girly butterfly thing on my back from my left shoulder to my right hip. 4.5 hours. That last hours was a ***** and I have no idea how girls sit for those lower back tats. The lower he went the worse it was!

I might be a baby...but I almost passed out for my first tattoo. It's a cartoon devil on my right thigh. I also have a lower back tattoo, and yes, it hurt like a mofo when it was done. OUCH!!!

Cool. No problem. I was just making sure this wasn't your first rodeo.

I have a pretty high tolerance as well, unless I have a cold or the flu. Then I turn into a baby.

tomorrow morning is going to hurt, but I'm going to enjoy it. I wonder if I can find the Tattoo place in NYC that a friend I lost contact with owns. she offered me free ink for some tattoo designs I gave her back in the day.

and I am high school guidance counselor, I just ran into a student that graduated and he saw the two on my legs and was surprised that I had tattoos. I laughed and said that's only two of them, and I'm getting a few more tomorrow. he might show up and get one now too. I'm such a good influence:drinker: .
  • Dude, that is going to be some stellar ink when you are done. Irish blood in ye? I have Scots-Irish/German/Cherokee heritage running through me. I have 10 tacks, most of which are memorials to people I loved who have passed on, but I also have the head of a tiger covering my left shoulder for myself, as I was born in the Chinese year of the tiger.

That's a lot of detailed line work. Your artist may hate you half way through!
  • I want a huge tattoo of two wolves that are part of a viking legend a giant wolf named Skoll chases the Moon, and its brother Hati pursues the Sun — and if either sinks their teeth into one and holds it back, an eclipse occurs.

I'm not 100% in love with this drawing of them but it gives you the picture.

  • I have three already but I've been wanting this as a sleeve for 3-4 years.
Edit: Is it okay to have drawings with bare boobs in them on this website? If someone doesn't like it I'll take it down... :P

    This.

And if your tattoo artists wants to do them all in one sitting to save money on needles, you need to find a new one period!

I have 7 tats but really want another one.. I think that will be my present when I hit my goal weight!

The pics of what you want look great!
  • Ooo, I LOVE Celtic knots! I'd like to get a Celtic-inspired tattoo sometime, just for the sake of the art and the intricate detail (I'm pretty sure I don't have a single drop of Irish blood in me, I'm pretty much all German). I've been told that I have a high pain tolerance....the longest I've done in one session is probably 4 hours, and honestly what really gets me is not the pain but the fact that I get bored with my reading material.

My fiance has said that when I reach my ultimate goal weight, he will reward me with a $500 tattoo of my choice. HELL YEAH! I've already started sketching ideas :)
